Denmark – Danske Spil buys into Swush.com

Denmark’s state-owned operator Danske Spil, has bought a majority share in fantasy sports platform provider Swush.com, via its online arm Danske Licens Spil.

Danske Licens Spil is to take a 60 per cent share in the sports platform.

Danske Licens Spil Director Niels Folmann said: “The acquisition will ensure a closer cooperation between Danske Licens Spil, which operates in the regulated Danish gaming market, and Swush.com that offers a host of product development services.”

Ole Christensen, co-founder of Swush.com, added: “We have worked closely with Danske Spil for many years; there are many synergies and a lot of strong growth potential. With Danske Spil, we will have a strong partner who can strengthen our business and help us achieve our goals.”
